Thanks to Barnaby Smith aka MVI the Dune Community has got the first mission modding tools for the game Dune 2000 and till now many mods have been launched. The main tools are given below. Map Editor - Kolfac's Campaign Map Editor Mission File Editor - MVI's Mission Editor. So, open your savegame in your hex editor and find all occurrences of the short byte0x0804. In the earlier savegame file, there's only one offset. So find now the second sietch in the list (0x0805) -in other words, the stop position- and copy all the bytes of Ergsun-Timin sietch in a text editor like this. The date stamp of that exe DOES say 1995; seems kinda late for a dune II release when mine says 1993. And all other files in ArrakisResearchCo's HitSquad archive DO have the 1993 date stamp. Anyway, I've updated my Dune II exes pack with all original exes, with original date stamp, and also replaced the HS one with the one from my own CD, so.
